Wedding Flowers Prices

If you’re looking for wedding flowers prices then you’re in the right place. Wedding flowers are an essential part of making the perfect wedding package and the costs can vary considerably. In this article I can help you understand the cost of wedding flowers and the different options available to you.

HOW MUCH DOES FLORISTRY AT THE AVERAGE WEDDING COST?

The average cost of wedding flowers is almost impossible to judge, but based on our research you should expect to spend between £1000 and £1500. This usually covers bridal party flowers as well as venue decoration.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN VARIABLES WHEN CONSIDERING YOUR WEDDING FLOWERS?

There are several factors that can influence the cost of your wedding flowers. Obviously the number of stems has a large impact on the price, but other factors include the venue itself. Some venues don’t need a large volume of stems whereas other venues need lots of flowers to make the same impact.

The date you get married can also influence the cost of the flowers. For example red roses around valentines day will always be more expensive. Equally if you are getting married around Christmas or New Year then some varieties of flowers will be more scarce and therefore cost more.

WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE ACCORDING TO YOUR BUDGET?

£250 is the lowest price most florists will entertain. This will usually get you a bridal bouquet, two bridesmaid bouquets, five button holes and two corsages.

For £500 you’ll get a bridal bouquet, two bridesmaid bouquets, five button holes and two corsages, and you’ll be able to add some centrepieces on the tables at your wedding. It’s likely you won’t be able to have centrepieces on all tables and they’re probably going to be greenery.

If you can afford a budget of £750 then you should be able to add a floral centrepiece to your wedding. You’ll probably also be able to add floral displays on your wedding tables.

For budgets of £1000 you will be getting a bridal bouquet, two bridesmaid bouquets, five button holes and two corsages, and you’ll be able to add centrepieces on all the tables at your wedding. You’ll also have some budget available to be able to start getting creative with the venue decor.

Flowers are a beautiful part of your wedding, they can enhance a venue making it into an inviting and creative space. Happy planning :)

A new shop!

Kelly StanierComment

June 2014 Offshore Blooms grew up. I made the big step of moving out of my little workshop into a shop front. I have always wanted to make the move and had known exactly how I wanted to be.

On July the 23rd I opened the door to my own shop. I wanted Offshore Blooms not to be just a flower shop, I wanted it to bring something different to Braunton. A florist/Homewares/lifestyle store. I wanted it be the little shop I would always pop back to when visiting a place.

There are many things I want to do with the shop but small steps... Look forward to seeing more new faces in the future.... Kelly Xx
